Life on the Inside
This half-hour film, which has aired on PBS stations in California, brings viewers behind the walls and electric fences at the largest women’s prison in the world--the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, CA. Life on the Inside shows the struggles that female convicts endure while incarcerated, while at the same time introducing viewers to the many innovative programs that allow inmates to enrich their lives while behind bars.
