Filmmaker Yoav PotashFor over 12 years, Yoav Potash has produced award-winning narrative and documentary films that have aired on PBS and have screened at film festivals worldwide.  In addition to founding Summit Pictures, he also founded the production company Life Sentence Films LLC, specifically to produce prison-related documentaries. His feature documentary CRIME AFTER CRIME is an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival. 

An Apple-certified instructor, Potash regularly teaches professional seminars for institutions such as Bay Area Video Coalition, the University of San Francisco, Film Arts Foundation, the National Black Programming Consortium, Stanford University, and the Academy of Art University.

His work has been published and reviewed in publications including The San Francisco Chronicle, SF Weekly, The Contra Costa County Times, The Berkeley Voice, Bay Area Times, The J., Digital Video Magazine, MovieMaker Magazine, and Independent Film & Video Monthly.

Potash graduated with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996.
